Results of the Indian Creek Clean up
Hi all, Below is the report from Liz Newman at the Olathe Parks and Recreation Department. I thought you would enjoy reading her report and sharing it with the rest of your Unit. It is amazing the amount of debris hauled out of the creek and from the trails. A couple of 1 ton dump truck loads would have been impressive, but they hauled "6" dump truck loads plus more. 6 dump truck loads AND a total of 6 pick up truck loads!

Thanks again for participating in this successful project,

Michael Samms

Subject: RE: Update on Service Project
I just got the update on how much debris we hauled out from your work day on the trail/creek:
(6) 1 ton dump truck loads
(5) pick up truck loads
(1) pick up truck load of entirely tires

Wow! Great job! We truly appreciate everyone's effort.

Yes you guys definitely made an impact! A lot of those areas probably hadn't been scoured real good since the trail was blazed through there...or maybe never! Make sure the scouts know how much we appreciate their efforts.
Liz Newman, Olathe Parks and Recreation
