Welcome to the RTH Camping site. The purpose of this page is to keep the District informed of camping opportunities and to provide links to Council resources.
Every Unit has been asked to provide a Camping Contact. This individual will receive updates before major events and when major updates are made to our Camping website. To update or change your Camping Contact, email Randy Warner.

Health Form Information
The new health form is required starting January 1st, 2010. Everyone, both youth and adults (including adults over 40) will use the new form.  For Day Camp, weekend campouts, and other short events, only page A and C are required. For any event over 72 hours, the entire form with physician’s exam is required. The electronic version of the form is a PDF fill-in so you can type in the information on your computer and save the file and just update it each year. The height-weight chart will NOT be enforced where there is medical help within 30 minutes, including summer camp at Naish and Bartle.

United States Flag Code
The United States Flag Code specifies how the flag should be displayed, respected, retired, etc. This REPORT to Congress reviews the code and answers many questions and myths about the flag.

Chapter 3 Order of the Arrow (OA)

The Order of the Arrow is the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America. The Order is divided into lodges that generally follow the Council boudaries; the HOAC Lodge is named Tamegonit. Each Lodge is divided into Chpaters that follow District Boundaries; RTH is Chapter 3.

OA is known as the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service. As a service to Cub Scout Packs on our District, upon request our Ceremony Team can perform Arrow of Light presentation ceremonies and Webelos to Boy Scout transition ceremonies. These are performed by youth members in OA in traditional Native American ceremonial regalia, and can be adapted to accomodate most situations and Pack traditions. Contacts are listed below.

RTH Boy Scout Summer Camping

Merit badge signup will be different at Bartle again this summer. Scouts will request their badges. Your merit badge coordinator then goes online and does all requests through the website (information was given at the campmaster leaders meetings). This includes lakefront so you will have confirmaton of who's secured slots prior to going to camp. If you want, use this HANDY FORM to have your Scouts choose their badges.
