National Order of the Arrow Conference
All arrowmen are invited to join the Lodge contingent attending NOAC in 2009. The contingent will include members from all 13 chapters. Chapter 3 (the Red Tailed Hawk district) is known for its strong involvement in lodge events and hopes to uphold this reputation at this national event as well.

To reserve spots your spot in the lodge contingent please access the following link and download the event flier and registration form: http://hoac-bsa.org/OA_NOAC.cfm

General information about NOAC may be found at the national web site. A direct web link is: http://event.oa-bsa.org/events/n2009/

The Chapter Chief and adviser(s) will also be able to answer your questions about NOAC. We encourage you to come to an upcoming chapter 3 meeting.

OA Chapter News (August 2008)
Thanks to Tory Campbell, our immediate past Ceremony Team Chair for an outstanding year of service.  Tory lead his team through over a dozen Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremonies for Packs within the District this past year.  He also lead our Chapter team to a second place finish in the Ceremony Competition at the Section Conclave earlier in the year, loosing to our own Tamegonit Lodge Cermony Team.  Outstanding job...

Rob Koudelka is our new Chapter Ceremony Team Chair.  Please contact Rob at 913-522-4655 or by email at rw20050@lycos.com to schedule the Chapter Ceremony Team to help with your Pack's Arrow of Light Ceremony.  We are excited to have Rob, who is also a member of the Lodge Team, lead our Chapter Team this year.  In addition to an increasing number of Arrow of Light Ceremonies and Chapter Callout, Rob will be getting our Chapter Ceremony Team ready to compete at a National level at the National Order of the Arrow Conference at Indiana University during the summer, 2009.

Our growing Chapter Ceremony Team is accepting donations of traditional Native American clothing and other items of regalia for use in its ceremonies.  Please contact our Chapter Ceremony Team advisor, Mikel Kline, or the Chapter Advisor, Robert Koudelka, if you have items you might be willing to donate to the team, if you have any questions, or need additional information.  Thanks.
